Police red card street football £50 fines

Future Brazilian Players?

Brazilian children play on the streets without fear of fine or punishment.

Children just having FUN!!

Section 161 (3) of the Act states: "If a person plays at football or any other game on a highway to the annoyance of a user of the highway he is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine".

Kids will be kids and have and make their own fun whether playing war games or on a beach their imaginations run wild. The children from the poorer nations such as Brazil are dreaming of following in their heroes footsteps Pele or Ronaldinho.

Kids on the British Streets dream of becoming like Beckham or Giggs.

But have to keep an eye out just in case they get an ASBO or a fine.

Brazil have won the World Cup 5 times

England once (no prizes for the year)

Wales made an apperance in1958

Scotland and the Irish teams have done slightly better but never won

BUT the powers that be in Holyhead wanted to help the kids so with funding built a fine changing room and gave local weightlifters a corner in it. Then went on to have a fullsize astro turf pitch, running track, rugby pitch.

Great Wonderful at last somewhere for them to go and dream their dreams and fine tune their skills.
